How do I modify php.ini file to enable/disable parameters in Windows VPS?

On default VPS setup, php.ini file is located at below mentioned path:

C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\v5.X

You can use any file editor like Notepad++ or wordpad to disable/enable parameters or set values on php.ini.

Notes :

  • php.ini installation path could be different, if you have made changes in default php configuration or installed additional php versions on same VPS.
  • On rare occurances, modification applied on default php.ini doesn't reflect, you need to place phpinfo.php file to any of your active PHP enabled website.
