Why sent emails are being received late?

There could be following reasons of delayed delivery:

  • There is Greylisting Enabled on your SmarterMail account.
  • Large emails at Mail spool.Mail spool can be checked with admin login on http://VPS_IP_ADDRESS:9998
  • Sufficient resources are not available on SmarterMail account.
  • An antivirus applications installed on server takes longer time to scan the emails.
