I want to use Dropbox with VPS. Is it allowed?

Dropbox can be installed on your VPS. You should disable LAN Sync option once you have installed Dropbox on your VPS. Because, it generates large amount of UDP outbound traffic on port 17500 and utilizes excessive bandwidth. Once you have disabled LAN Sync, you should block outbound connection on port 17500. You can run following command to add this rule in your VPS Windows Firewall:

netsh advfirewall firewall add rule name="Dropbox blocked port" protocol=UDP dir=out remoteport=17500 action=block
